  Years R, 1 and 2 are still entitled to universal infant free school meals.

• We have a new Allergy and Anaphylaxis Policy on our website.  Two key points to be aware of:

We have purchased spare emergency epi-pens, which will be kept in the office.  In line with Natasha's Law guidance, we are having to ask parents not to bring in cakes or sweets for birthdays.  However, parents are welcome to give out bags of sweets at the end of the day on the playground.

Instrument Lessons

At St. John’s we currently offer piano and violin lessons that run throughout the school day every Friday.  You can apply for one-to-one, paired or group lessons through the Kent Music Website: https://www.kent-music.com/music-lessons/ There are a range of instruments that you can learn from a Kent Music Teacher at school or at a local music centre. 

Students with Lessons in Kent Schools: If you have an approved lesson with any music provider in a Kent school, you can apply for financial assistance.  There are many financial support options available to support families with the cost of the lessons and/or instrument hire https://www.kent-music.com/financial-assistance/
