Welcome Letter

I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to St John's Church of England Primary School. My name is Mrs Jo Williamson and I have the privilege of being the Head teacher.

Our school is an inclusive community where everyone is valued, respected and challenged to achieve their full potential.

At St John's we want everyday to be a learning opportunity, we aim to keep well-being at the centre of all we do and we want all children, parents and staff to feel happy and safe.

We are building a community that reflects the Church of England's Vision for Education:

Educating for wisdom, knowledge and skills Educating for hope and aspiration Educating for community and living well together Educating for dignity and respect

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.” - Jeremiah 29:11

The community of St John’s champions an engaging curriculum, which encourages reflective and resilient learners. Because of Jesus’ love for everyone, we value every child as an individual and support them spiritually, emotionally, and academically.

Please take the time to browse our website but if you really want to find out about us then come see us in school and see for yourself.

Kind regards

Jo Williamson Headteacher
