The pupil premium is an allocation of funding provided to schools to support children who may be vulnerable to underachievement. The amount received is dependent on the number of children who are eligible and have claimed for free school meals at any time in the last six years.
Much of what we do benefits all our children, but the funds are allocated in such a way that support is specifically targeted to children eligible for free school meals as detailed below. We believe that allocating the funds this way allows every child to works effectively towards their potential.
