  1. Scouting Squirrels

    We have been notified of the opening of a brand new Squirrels section of Scouts for all children aged 4 – 6. This is part of the 16th Canterbury (St Thomas’) Scout Group and is the youngest section of the Scout organisation.

  2. School Meals

    Friday 17 June

    From September the cost of a school meal will increase to £2.43 per day. Please make sure that you have enough credit on your child’s account to cover the cost of their meals.

    Also, if your child is moving from year 2 to year 3 and they are not eligible for free school meals please make sure that you have set up their new Caterlink account in time for the return to school in September...

  3. Wimbledon Day Menu

    Friday 17 June

    There will be a change of menu on Thursday 7th July as Caterlink will be providing a special meal to celebrate the Wimbledon tennis tournament.

  5. Platinum Jubilee

    Friday 27 May

    We have all enjoyed celebrating the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee today.

    This morning the whole school met on the playground which was decorated with bunting and banners. The children were told about the importance of the Jubilee and we enjoyed listening to the King’s School Brass Band performing the National Anthem.

  6. Year 6 Enjoy a Day Out!

    Friday 27 May

    Children from year 6 enjoyed a day at Bewl Water on Wednesday (25th May) this week. This was a special trip to mark the end of primary school and their time at St John’s.

    They set off early from school to make the journey and sang most of the way there! There was a lot of excitement on the coach!

  7. New Play Equipment

    Children from our Reception Classes are continuing to enjoy the new play equipment.
