    Friday 14 October

    We welcomed the Road Safety team from Kent County Council into school yesterday.

    They spoke to the children in years 3 and 4 about road safety and reminded them that they should Stop, Look, Listen and Think before crossing the road.

    We have been informed of a new football club for girls in years 3 and 4. Rising Stars Youth FC (based in Whitstable and Canterbury) are setting up a new U9s girls' football team and want to recruit players.

  3. New Reading Initiative

    Friday 14 October

    This term we are excited to be able to offer our very own reading initiative.

    Children will be expected to read four nights a week and will be rewarded for doing this. Children in Key Stage 1 are expected to read for 15 minutes per evening.   4. Reading with your Child

    Friday 14 October

    Please may we remind all parents and carers of the importance of reading with children.

  5. Choir

    Friday 14 October

    Our KS2 choir is performing at the Canterbury Music Festival on Saturday 15th October. They are performing a range of upbeat songs from Justin Timberlake to Little Mix. If you are in Canterbury at that time, please come and support the choir at Whitefriars Shopping Centre (on the green area outside Next), from 1pm—1.50pm.

  6. Harvest Festival

    Friday 14 October

    Our Harvest Festival celebration will take place at school on Wednesday 19th October.

    Children should bring their harvest goodies to school with them on Wednesday morning and take them to their classroom. Please bring items such as pasta, rice, jars of pasta sauce and tinned goods.

    All donations will be given to the Community Larder at All Saints Church.
