Yesterday morning we were all treated to a musical extravaganza as part of our whole school assembly!

The children who have violin and piano lessons at school had prepared pieces of music to perform to everybody. We were all really impressed with the performances from Keivan, Eden, Doyeon, Suyeong, Anthony, Joshua, Tami and Arnavaz.

We were also impressed by the skills of our music teacher, Mrs Gillett-Khan, as she accompanied several children on the piano!

We were then treated to the major surprise of the day as a group of teachers (with Mrs Gillett-Khan on vocals) produced their own musical instruments and treated us to their skills as they performed a version of the song ’Congratulations’ with a few lyrical changes to suit St John’s!

It was a lovely way to start the day and to showcase the musical skills and talents of our school community.
