We have all enjoyed celebrating the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee today.
This morning the whole school met on the playground which was decorated with bunting and banners. The children were told about the importance of the Jubilee and we enjoyed listening to the King’s School Brass Band performing the National Anthem.
Each class then paraded around the playground showing off their amazing costumes representing the different decades of the Queen’s reign.
There were some great outfits on show and we thank everyone for their efforts in producing these!
At lunchtime we all met again on the playground to share in our traditional fish and chip lunch in honour of the occasion.
It’s been a lovely day and St John’s send their congratulations to the Queen on this fantastic achievement!
