Children in our Reception Classes and Nursery have been thinking about the Platinum Jubilee this week.
Children in Reception made cornflake crowns to enjoy during the celebrations. They decorated these with repeated patterns and will be writing to the Queen to invite her to join us to enjoy our cakes.
We will inform parents if she accepts!
Children in Nursery Class have been reading the book, The Queen’s Knickers. This got them thinking about the Queen and what she might wear if she visited our school.
The children also made crowns to wear at our jubilee parade and enjoyed making crown biscuits, and holding a playdough afternoon tea!
