On Wednesday (29th June) all of the children from year 5 went to the museum at the Beaney Institute.
The children have been studying Vikings and Anglo Saxons as their history topic this term and the visit gave them the chance to see real artefacts from this time. They looked at the objects and had the opportunity to work out what they were made from, how they were made and what they would have been used for.
The children all thoroughly enjoyed looking at the items and learning more about the Anglo Saxon and Viking way of life as well as spending some time exploring the other exhibits in the museum.
