    The NED Show is coming to St John’s next week!

    The children will watch the NED live streaming performance in their classrooms on Monday morning at 9am and be shown ways to help develop and maintain a positive mindset. The performance includes storytelling, illusions, yo-yo tricks and humour.

  2. Reading Initiative

    Friday 30 September

    We will be introducing a new St John’s reading initiative this term.

    Children will be encouraged to read for 4 nights of the week and will be awarded with certificates for their efforts.

    There will also be a class trophy to be won each week.

    Full details of the scheme will be sent out to parents and we look forward to seeing lots of reading around the school.

  3. Shoelaces

    We have been pleased to see so many children coming to school in smart black school shoes. However, we have become aware that some children struggle to manage their shoelaces and do not know how to do up or undo their school shoes. This can be a health and safety concern as children move around the school with trailing shoelaces which they could trip over.
