  4. Reception Children Enjoy Cooking at Forest School

    Friday 14 January

    Butterfly Class enjoyed their first Forest School session of the new year.

    They made a vegetable stew over the campfire and enjoyed adding the ingredients to the wok as well as talking about what they were using and the different flavours.

    They all took it in turns to add the ingredients and helped to stir the mixture.

  5. School Census

    Friday 14 January

    January 20th is school census day. This is a very important day for the school as our funding for the following year is calculated on this day.

    One of the things that is used to calculate our funding is the number of children in Reception, year 1 and year 2 who have a school meal on that day.

  6. Can you Help?

    Friday 14 January

    Our Nursery children are exploring vehicles this term.

    We would be very grateful for any unwanted cars, buses, trains, aeroplanes or boats that would be suitable for 2—5 year olds to use in the Nursery.

    If you have any that you can let us have please bring them to the office or drop them off at the Nursery.

  7. Late Gate

    Friday 14 January

    Some of you may have noticed that we have been joined by a member of Kent County Council’s attendance team on our school gate in the morning. This is due to the number of children who have been arriving late to school.

    Kent County Council want to monitor our late arrivals and offer help and advice to school and parents to try to reduce the number of late arrivals to school.
