    Friday 20 January

    The children in Honeybee Class have been learning the story of The Three Little Pigs.

    They have spent time in class re-telling the story and then had a great time at Forest School making houses in the styles that the pigs used.

    They made houses of straw, sticks and bricks and thought about which one was the strongest!

  2. Crafty Fun for Chinese new Year

    Friday 20 January

    This year, the Chinese New Year begins on 22nd January and the children from our Ducklings Toddler and Baby Group have been celebrating with some craft activities.

    This year (2023) is the Year of the Rabbit and the children have been making rabbit prints. They have had lots of fun using their hands and feet to make these images!

    Squirrel class children have been combining their Forest School activities with their science topics!

  4. Musical Treat

    Friday 20 January

    We were all treated to a musical performance from Kirsty in year 5 Fox Class last week. She gave her first public performance in front of the school when she played piano as the children came into our whole school worship session and closed the assembly for us.

  5. Playing in the Past

    Friday 13 January

    This term, year 1 are learning about toys and will be looking back in time to compare toys from the present to toys from the past. 

    To launch their topic, they brought their favourite toy into school for a show and tell.  This week, they got to look at some toys from the 2000's, 1980's and even from the 1960's!

    Friday 13 January

    Our next school census day is on Thursday 19th January. This is an important day for the school as the government collects data from us on this day and decides some of our funding for the year based on the results.
