Our Vision Statement:
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.” - Jeremiah 29:11 The community of St John’s champions an engaging curriculum, which encourages reflective and resilient learners. Because of Jesus’ love for everyone, we value every child as an individual and support them spiritually, emotionally, and academically.
School Vision and Values
Our school vision was created with input from children, staff, parents, and governors. Involving our whole school community we believe that our vision statement sums up who we are as a family and what we believe our role is a school. If you have any questions about what our vision statement ‘looks like’, please ask.
As well as our vision statement, we have 10 School Values; 5 Living Values and 5 Learning Values. Based on the teaching of Jesus, we believe these values help us to grow as individuals and as learners and to seek to live life to the full in our communities.
Our 5 Living Values:
Our 5 Learning Values:
We have studied different Bible stories that help us to understand what these values mean, where they have come from and what they look like in our school. Each class decorated their classroom door to reflect this; we hope you like them!
At St John's, our Christian identity underpins everything; who we are, what we do, how we treat one another. Without this, we wouldn't be what makes us 'us'.
