We spent the day of Wednesday 28th March thinking about the true meaning of Easter and celebrating this important event in the Christian calendar.
We were honoured to be joined by Bishop Trevor of Dover for our assembly at the beginning of the day and then the children took part in activities led by volunteers from All Saint’s Church, Emmanuel Church and The City Church.
The children visited ten different ‘prayer and reflection stations’ around the school where they learnt about different aspects of the Easter story. Each child had their own special Easter passport and collected a sticker at each location.
They all enjoyed the activities and learning more about the true meaning of Easter. We would like to thank all the volunteers for giving up their time to be with us, and Mrs Gillett and Mim for organising such an interesting and eventful day.
