Computing

We have an exciting computing curriculum at St John's following StudyZone, which focusses on core skills and problem-solving. It is broken down into three main disciplines: digital literacy, computer science and computing technology. In doing this we provide the children with a wide range of skills from using computers to create content, to programming and how computers and networks work.

At St John’s we place great importance on online safety, ensuring children are given the skills and knowledge to keep themselves and others safe across a wide range of platforms and devices. Not only do we cover this in our computing lessons and have embedded it within our PSHE curriculum, but we also have a team of E-Safety Ambassadors consisting of KS2 children to ensure the pupils' voices are heard.
