We were joined by two members of the Rotary Club on Wednesday morning this week. They came into school to award prizes to children who had been successful in their story writing entries for the annual Rotary Club competition.
The children were asked to write a 100 word Christmas story which they had to present in their own handwriting and with no spelling or punctuation support.
We were proud to have three winners amongst the children at St John’s, chosen from all the schools in Canterbury and these were:
Kayla from year 2 - 1st place William from year 4—2nd place Alicia from year 6—3rd place
Well done to all of them!
