This morning Key Stage 2 children (years 3, 4 ,5 and 6) celebrated Christmas with their Christingle service. Every child in KS2 made a Christingle orange for the service and year 6 demonstrated how these were made and their significance to the Christmas story during the service. We were also treated to a beautiful performance by our school choir, as well as year 5 reading some prayers of thankfulness for Christmas that they had written. There was even a great drama performance by year 4 about the first ever Christingle. It was a lovely way to end our term and prepare us all for the Christmas holidays and celebrations. As always it was lovely to welcome so many parents to share the service with us. We hope you enjoyed it! Well done Key Stage 2!
