  2. Nut Free School

    Tuesday 27 June

    Please may we remind all parents and carers that St John’s is a nut free school. We have six children in school who suffer from nut allergies and therefore, in order to keep them safe there must be no nut products brought into school.

  3. Stand Up to Bullying!

    Tuesday 27 June

    On Wednesday this week we all joined in with Stand up to Bullying day. The children were all reminded to refuse to spread rumours about other people and that we do not tolerate any form of bullying here at St John’s. They also joined in with a fun game in their classrooms.

  4. Take Your Dog to Work Day!

    Tuesday 27 June

    In order to celebrate national Take Your Dog to Work Day we invited two dogs into school last Thursday!

    Tinkerbell, owned by Miss Pellant and Ronnie, owned by Mrs Hodge were invited to spend the day at St John’s. They were thrilled to accept and spent a fun packed day with the children, joining in with both lessons and play time.

  6. Labour Landslide!

    Saturday 17 June

    The children all took part in a ‘mock election’ at the beginning of last week. The main party’s manifestos were presented to the children in assembly and then they all had the chance to vote for their favourite.

  7. Minilympics

    Monday 12 June

    On Monday this week (12th June) a team of year 4 children from St John’s took part in a Minilympics competition with other schools from the local area.

    They took part in lots of sporting events including athletics, field testing and strength testing as well as learning cricket skills with players from the Kent team.
