  2. Easter Celebration Afternoon

    Friday 5 April

    This afternoon was our Easter Celebration event. We enjoyed a fun event with Easter bonnets, an Easter egg tombola and a celebration raffle.

    The Easter bonnet parade was a highlight of the afternoon as we admired the work of children (and parents) as they paraded around the playground.

  3. Parent Governor Elections

    Friday 5 April

    Letters were sent home to all families yesterday with details of the candidates for the posts of Parent Governors.

    There are currently two vacancies for Parent Governors and parents are asked to vote for their choice of candidate.

    Please complete your ballot slip as soon as possible and return to school in the envelope provided, by Tuesday 7th May.

  4. 100% Attendance

    Friday 5 April

    We would like to congratulate all those children who have achieved 100% attendance at school this term (from 25th February to 5th April).

    All of these children will be awarded with a session on our bouncy castle when we return to school from the Easter holidays.

  5. Year 5 Storytelling

    Friday 5 April

    Year 5 had fun on our school field last Thursday.

    They have been studying Beowolf in English, and learning about the Vikings who loved storytelling, so the children wrote their own tense story openers which they then learned off by heart to tell each other over the fire with marshmallows!

    We have been contacted by the KM Charity Team regarding this year’s Buster’s Big Bash which will take place in the Dane John Gardens on Saturday 18th May.

  7. Prayer and Reflection Day

    Friday 5 April

    Yesterday was our school prayer and reflection day for Easter.

    Children in years 1 to 6 spent the day moving around prayer stations and reflecting on parts of the Easter story.

    We followed Jesus’ journey from Palm Sunday to the Resurrection, thinking about the significant events of Easter.
