    Santa’s elves have been busy at St John’s this week!

    The elves visited all the classrooms and collected the letters that the children had written to Father Christmas.

  2. St John's Post Box

    Friday 7 December

    Our special St John’s Christmas post box will be up and ready for use from Monday (10th December). Children can post their Christmas cards to friends and staff in this post box and they will then be delivered around the school by our special Christmas delivery team!

  3. Thank You

    We would like to thank everyone for the wonderful donations that we received for the tombola collection.

    We had a fantastic response, and Tuesday’s non uniform day resulted in THREE trolleys full of goods for today’s tombola stall!

  4. Canterbury Primary Schools Choir

    Friday 7 December

    On Monday this week, (3rd December), children from St John’s joined with children from other primary schools in Canterbury to become the Canterbury Primary Schools Choir and give an amazing Christmas performance at the Gulbenkian Theatre.

  5. Nursery Christmas Performance

    Friday 7 December

    Our Nursery children entertained their parents and families on Tuesday and Thursday this week. They gave two performances of a collection of Christmas songs.

    They shone as 'Twinkle Stars', shimmered like snowflakes and looked delicious as 'Christmas Puddings.'  Leola remarked, 'I felt happy and did really good dancing.'

  6. EAL Christmas Trip

    Our children who learn English as an additional language went on a special Christmas walk around Canterbury yesterday, (6th December). They visited the cathedral and saw the nativity scene being constructed as well as visiting a local café where they ordered their own drinks.

  7. Menu Change

    Friday 7 December

    We would like to inform everyone of a change to the school menu on Tuesday 18th December. Instead of chicken korma with rice the children will now be offered fish and chips.

    As always school lunch will cost £2.05, unless your child is eligible for a free school meal.
