  2. Reminder

    Friday 12 October

    Please may we remind all parents and carers that we break up for half term at the end of next week. The last day of school for this term is Friday 19th October and children should return to school on Wednesday 31st October.

  3. Fun in Nursery!

    Friday 12 October

    This term in Nursery we have been having lots of Autumn and Harvest Fun.

    We have also taken part in the Espressions Cafe 'Eat Well Plate' workshops.  We have tasted all different types of fruit and vegetables and had a visit from Mrs Pellant to show us what she had grown on her allotment; including a giant pumpkin!

  4. Reward Time

    Friday 12 October

    We will be running a special reward scheme on the first three days back at school after half term.

    This will be offered to all those children who have shown the correct behaviour at school during this half of the term and have not received any red cards for behaviour during the previous two weeks.

  5. Census Lunch and Magic Show

    Friday 5 October

    Our special census lunch was an amazing success yesterday. We had over 300 children across the school take up the offer of the special meal and this will really help the school’s funding for the following year.

    The children also all enjoyed watching Mr Cullen’s magic show as they ate their lunch; the highlight being seeing Miss Pellant floating above the stage! Thomas from year 5...

  6. School Photos

    Friday 5 October

    Our school photographer was with us yesterday, taking individual photos of the children as well as photos of siblings and family groups.

    We will send home the proof prints of these photographs as soon as we receive them. This should be in about three or four weeks time. Watch out for your proofs coming home shortly.

    The photos could make some lovely Christmas presents!

  7. Canterbury Festival Art Workshop

    Friday 5 October

    We will be welcoming artists from Canterbury Festival into school on Monday and Tuesday next week (8th and 9th October).

    They will be working with children in years 2, 3, 4 and 5 to make a large dove structure which will feature in the opening ceremony of the festival this year on Saturday 20th October. Children in all classes will also be involved with the workshops and will be making...
