Our class book this term is Varjak Paw by SF Said. We will be reading this exciting book about the life of a cat whose life is disturbed by some new cats on the block. We will be writing character descriptions, play scripts and narratives this term. We will continue to use subordinate clauses, fronted adverbials, direct speech and focus on the detail we are using in our writing.
Reading
While reading our class book, the children will be developing our retrieving inference and prediction skills. Year 4 will continue to read independently every day and use Accelerated Reader to complete quizzes about the book. Please support us in ensuring your child is reading at home every day.
